GQR Healthcare is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a travel job in Beaumont, Texas.

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Length: 13 weeks but will be continuous employment. (aka extensions)
Shift: Nights; (possible shift times: 1700-0530, 1745-0615)
Hours per week: 36/48-hour rotation

• Full-Time staff will be requested to work a combination of 36 and 48-hour work weeks (12-hour shifts). This could follow a pattern of every other week, it could be 3 weeks in a row of 36 hours then a 4th week of 48 hours, or any other combination. Staff is notified 2+ weeks in advance of their next month's schedule, so they will have time to plan accordingly with family and other employers

OT: Eligibility to work OT Is available contingent on performance 
Based on: 

• Call-ins
• Punctuality
• Unexcused absences
• Cannot have 5 or more consecutive shifts (this will not be approved.)
• Cap at 60 hours total or 20 hours OT. 

Float Requirements: Will be asked to float as needed. They will float to different units that are within 10 - 30 minutes of each other. They would be compensated through the facility for a drive time of up to 30 minutes with a punch correction.

• Nurses could be floated or diverted within 50 miles of the unit they are assigned to work with
• Rarely could be transferred mid-shift but could be
• Miles to/from home is not considered
• Refusal to float or divert they are DNR
• Google Maps is their friend! Satellite view
• Their home base (where they live) is not considered

Scheduling: 

• 4 weeks block booking by the 20th
• Work week is Saturday – Friday, this is how OT is calculated 

Certs: BLS, IV Therapy Cert

• LVN must have IV Therapy 

License: Compact or Texas LVN 
Experience:

• Min 1 year Med Surg Acute experience required, with 2 years of LVN experience

Nursing Requirements Direct from Client: 

• Thick skinned
• Independent
• Does not participate in internal issues and gossip
• Successful in a Fast paced environment 

COVID Vaccine Requirement: Required but exemptions are accepted 

Module Bonus: $200 Sign-on Bonus, upon completion of required modules and starting assignment
