Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least one year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts and a 40-hour work week
• Assignment duration is 14 weeks
• Care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians on diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Responsible for direct patient care, medication administration, and IV infusion management
• Document patient responses and interventions accurately
• Assist physicians and oversee procedures and support staff
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a valid multistate compact RN license
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association required within six months of hire
