Position Details Grade: ASTD18 Locations: Multiple sites throughout Maryland, including Green Ridge Youth Center, Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, Charles H. Responsibilities Provide clinical social work services, engage in rehabilitative counseling, and support youth with mental health or substance abuse issues. Experience: At least three years in clinical, therapeutic, or forensic social work services. Substitutions include a Doctorate in social work or military service experience in relevant fields. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adolescents with mental health or substance abuse issues is preferred. Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications Must be licensed as a Certified Social Worker-Clinical prior to appointment or pending receipt of license. Must possess a valid Maryland motor vehicle operator’s license if duties require driving. Additional Requirements Mandatory continuing education credits. Completion of training in group counseling techniques and possibly the Level I Counseling course certified by the Maryland AIDS Professional Education Center.
