Industry leader in circuit board manufacturing located in San Diego is seeking SMT Operator to join their rapidly growing team of motivated individuals.

You will be responsible for operating surface mounting equipment including pick and place machines, screen printers and reflow ovens.

SUMMARY

• Able to load the feeders, read part numbers and load the machine. Able to operate the screen printing machine as well as the reflow ovens.
• Troubleshoot basic problems on each of the machines.
• Examine the reflow assembly, analyze problems regarding solder quality and change the thermal profile accordingly.
• Understand Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and edit minor changes in the program
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of SMT Operator experience is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using Automated SMT Production Equipment
• Phillips/ Assembleon experience is a plus!
• Familiar with IPC specs and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail is a must!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6AM to 2:30PM, must be able to work overtime as needed

Compensation: $20-26 per hour depending on experience
