Job Description
We are looking to add another experienced litigation paralegal to our growing Austin, Texas team. You must have a minimum of at least two (2+) plus years of paralegal experience working in a Texas law firm litigation environment. Our work/life balance firm primarily defends large corporate companies to small family businesses in civil litigation including construction defect, premises liability, wrongful death and property cases.
Skills and Abilities:
• 2 years plus of experience is required.
• Experience with insurance defense and construction law is a plus but not required.
• Trial preparation, litigation maintenance, document management, calendaring, etc.
• Exceptional organizational, computer and technical skills.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Must possess strong grammar, spelling and editing skills.
• Experience with filing procedures.
• Must possess a positive attitude.
• Must be organized to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience conducting investigations and legal research.
• Must be proficient with drafting of discovery requests and responses, correspondence and pleadings.
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with depositions and interrogatories.
