Position Overview: The Driller is responsible for drilling operations that meet the required standards and specifications and are in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Driller is responsible for the safety and quality of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate drilling rigs and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and repair drilling rigs and other equipment.
• Inspect drill sites to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of drilling operations.
• Carry out soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and indoor air sampling.
• Perform drilling oversight and well installation.
• Provide technical advice to staff and clients.
• Adhere to safety standards and best practices in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in drilling, oil, gas, or petroleum.
• Experience in ground improvement, earth retention, deep foundations, concrete, exploration, geotechnical, and deep foundation excavation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Nice to have: Soil Sampling, Groundwater Sampling, indoor air sampling, Soil Vapor Sampling.
