Job Description

CMM Programmer Dimensional Inspection & Metrology (Saint Paul, MN)

Join our new product launch team as a CMM Programmer, where you'll create inspection programs, determine inspection methods, and ensure machined part quality meets customer specifications. This role also supports engineering revisions, process improvements, and provides additional inspection services.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and perform dimensional inspections using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Interpret complex drawings, control plans, and work instructions to identify inspection features.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and a wide range of gauges for planned inspections.
• Document detailed inspection results and prepare full dimensional layouts for customer submission.

Essential Skills

• Experience in CMM programming and operation.
• Proficiency in GD&T and PC-DMIS software.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in GD&T, metrology, and CMM programming.
• PC-DMIS CAD/CAM experience.
• Familiarity with C++, CNC programming, Mastercam, and machining processes.
• Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Health Vision Dental Short Term Union Benefits 401k PTO.
