Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a pediatric RN with at least one year of experience and an active CA RN license for a night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a pediatric unit within an acute care hospital
• Pediatric patient population with all related cases
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• Floating required within skillset and potentially among state facilities
• EMR system used is Epic and experience is required
• Pediatric-friendly scrub top with royal or navy blue bottoms required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have a 3-month break before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no requested time off allowed and all RTO must be submitted at time of application
• Free parking is available for staff

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active California RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric RN experience required
• Current BLS and other required certifications
• Epic charting experience required
• Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last three years
• Social Security card, driver's license, and proof of current vaccinations (COVID, flu) required for consideration
• Pending licenses not accepted
