Job Details:

• Work 3, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• No guaranteed block scheduling available
\n• 1-2 call shifts per week Monday through Thursday
\n• Call starts after your shift until 7:00 AM the next morning
\n• 30-minute callback response time required
\n• 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks from end of Friday shift until 7:00 AM Monday
\n• No scheduled weekend shifts (call only)
\n• Holiday coverage on call basis per department needs
\n• Will work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays with no time off approved around Christmas and New Year's
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• First-time travelers not accepted
\n• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required
\n• Must be able to function independently in neurosurgery
\n• EPIC experience required
\n• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1
\n• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Work in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 50-60
\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• Skills include craniotomies, spinal fusions, trauma procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and various neurosurgical procedures
\n• Manager interview required
\n• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, completed before start date)

The facility specializes in neurosurgery, trauma, and orthopedic procedures with advanced robotics capabilities. The organization maintains high clinical standards and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility serves as a regional referral center for complex surgical cases and trauma care.
