• Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)\n
• Location: 901 W Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: November 3, 2025\n
• End Date: February 2, 2026\n
• Healthcare Setting: 34-bed Surgical Oncology/Telemetry Unit\n
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend required\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360-$1460\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
• Experience with telemetry monitoring equipment (GE Telemetry, Welch Allyn Vital Signs)\n
• EMR proficiency (MediTech preferred)\n
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality\n
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Chemotherapy Certification\n
• Must wear navy scrubs\n

\n\nTele RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, age-appropriate nursing care to medical/surgical and surgical oncology patients, including telemetry monitoring\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses and patient care technicians\n
• Document patient care accurately in MediTech EMR\n
• Participate in unit activities and promote a culture of teamwork and clinical excellence\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management\n
