Job Title: Voice Technician/telecoms Technician.
Location: Colorado Denver surrounding areas.
Salary/Rate: $26-40 per hour.
Job Type: Contract 3 years.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
As a Telecoms Technician you will be working in the clients exchange buildings across the USA, providing connectivity schemes between the MDF and Switch infrastructure:

• Following an agreed schedule provide 2 wire jumpers to complete circuit between the MDF and 20c switching infrastructure.
• Terminate 2 wire jumpers using twist and tip soldering techniques or IDC tools as appropriate.
• Provide and test 2Mb co-axial circuits between DDF’s.
• Test Provision of 2wire prior to changeover.
• Recover old wiring as specified in job pack.
• Support decommissioning of Switch infrastructure.

Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• HN1 Basic Frames Accreditation (Good to have).
• HN4 Frames Accreditation (Good to have).
• Competent in use of soldering tools.
• Competent in making up and testing 3002 co-axial links.
• Technical understanding of the PSTN.
