As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents. What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security‑related matters. Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
