Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 24+ Weeks (Possible Extension)
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Behavior Technician for an exciting job in Ashburn, VA.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Collect and accurately document data on client behavior, progress, and session outcomes.
Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills using ABA methodologies.
Manage and appropriately respond to challenging behaviors using approved strategies.
Support clients across assigned environments (home, school, clinic).
Maintain regular communication with supervisors, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional guidelines.
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Ability to follow behavior plans and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
Strong communication, patience, and observational skills.
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, or related fields.
Prior ABA therapy experience or background working with children with developmental disabilities.
Experience in home-based, school-based, or clinical environments.
