Position Overview

We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist with specialized expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-concussive syndrome, and related neurodiagnostic evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience in both acute and chronic TBI management, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care. This role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, interpreting neurodiagnostic studies, and guiding treatment plans for patients with complex neurologic presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive neurologic evaluations for patients with suspected or confirmed TBI and post-concussive symptoms.
  • Interpret neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, qEEG, VNG, balance assessments, imaging, and other concussion-focused modalities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing cognitive, vestibular, psychological, and functional symptoms related to head injury.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists, primary care providers, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, and case managers to coordinate continuity of care.
  • Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance to technicians and support staff performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging research, standards of care, and best practices in TBI and concussion management.
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and professional education initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Neurology.
  • Fellowship training or substantial clinical experience in traumatic brain injury, sports neurology, brain health, or related subspecialties preferred.
  • Valid medical license (or eligibility) in the state of practice.
  • Strong understanding of acute, subacute, and chronic concussion pathophysiology.
  • Experience interpreting neurodiagnostic testing relevant to TBI and post-concussive care.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients with complex neurologic needs.
