RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transcribe audio recordings of patient notes, histories, reports, and summaries. Ensure documentation meets accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance standards. Identify and verify medical terms, abbreviations, and procedures. Proofread and format final transcripts for clarity and professionalism. Consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

MUST be a U.S. citizen. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior medical transcription experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with transcription software/tools is a plus! Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation. Excellent typing speed and grammar. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
