Marketing Intern

At Magnolia, internships serve as opportunities for students and new professionals to gain experience in various fields by contributing their skills and expertise toward achieving organizational goals. Interns will be assigned to one department for the duration of the semester, and specific projects or tasks will be determined per departmental need. Interns work from various Magnolia locations in Waco, Texas. The Magnolia Marketing Intern reports to the Senior Manager of Divisional Marketing, Retail and Integrated Marketing and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Application deadline: December 10, 2025. The Spring Internship will run from February 02, 2025 April 17, 2025. Interns should plan to be in Waco, Texas for the duration of the program.

Essential duties and responsibilities include: assisting in execution of seasonal marketing buildouts, documenting buildouts and activations, supporting creative and operational workflows, partnering with the social team, engaging in cross-department learning, participating in strategic planning sessions, supporting projects assigned by internship supervisor, collaborating with internal teams, maintaining confidentiality, communicating clearly, participating in internship group development, and performing other duties as assigned.

Competencies include teamwork, critical thinking, expertise, communication, guest focus, strategy and goal setting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

Eligibility qualifications include being a college junior or senior, graduate student, or recent graduate (up to two years post grad), and being available to work 15-25 hours weekly for the duration of the internship program.

Physical demands include sitting, using hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilizing fine motor dexterity of fingers; talking or hearing and tasting or smelling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The work environment is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
