JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of each employee is to help United Solutions achieve its Mission:

Responsibilities include assisting with activities relative to marketing programs and initiatives that are designed to further United Solutions’ mission. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to social media efforts, including the company blog
• Assist in the creation of printed materials, press releases, e-mail campaigns, etc.
• Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
• Assist with planning and execution of trade shows
• Perform analysis of marketing and sales data as needed
• Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, or other documents
• Enter contact information into contact management systems as needed
• Maintain tracking report of public relations activity
• Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with staff and business contacts
• Communicates with supervisor regarding all pertinent problems, irregularities, new development, changes and other important information within area of responsibility
• Performs other duties as assigned and support all areas of the company and its affiliates

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of the principles of marketing
• Strong understanding of social media and how it applies to marketing.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, solve practical problems and write routine reports and correspondence
• Experience with email marketing tools is a plus
• Experience with video production and/or editing a plus
• Graphic Design experience, Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, and Web Design helpful
• Creative and innovative.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
• Ability to work across departmental boundaries to complete tasks
• Ability to elicit cooperation from other departments
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
