Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse array of electrical and mechanical equipment within a wallpaper factory. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, along with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. The Maintenance Electrician is pivotal in providing electrical and mechanical support for in-house repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.

Shift and Pay

1st Shift - Mon-Thurs 5am to 3:30pm - OT possible before, after shifts or on weekends

$28-$34/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment and tools.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, control systems, wiring, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment functioning and longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments.
• Install new equipment and machinery, including electrical wiring, control panels, conduit, and mechanical components, and assist with facility upgrades.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in the CMMS program and order necessary parts.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel, production teams, and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate contractor work as needed or assigned by leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
