As a Forensic Consultant, you will conduct field investigations into incidents such as fires, floods, explosions, hurricanes, vehicle impacts, and structural failures. You will analyze findings, develop detailed reports and repair scopes, and interface directly with clients. Responsibilities

  • Perform forensic field inspections and analysis of residential and commercial buildings.
  • Develop high-quality technical reports, repair scopes, and client deliverables.
  • Support project management, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and utilization targets are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to review work product, share knowledge, and deliver consistent results.
  • Communicate findings effectively with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, codes, and company standards.
  • Contribute to business objectives by producing reliable, profitable work product.
  • Travel as required throughout region to perform site investigations and support client needs.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related technical field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in building design, construction, or inspection.
  • EIT required for engineers; PE preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with construction codes preferred.
  • Physical ability to access roofs, crawl spaces, and uneven terrain.

Additional Information

The annualized base pay range for this role is $90-140k.
