Field Service Engineer

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000

Location : Boston

About the Role:

Join our client, a key distributor of Medical Imaging systems across the Northeastern United States. We're seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage the expanding install base of imaging systems in Boston, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure top-notch service delivery and customer satisfaction in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues on Diagnostic X-Ray and Ultrasound equipment in medical settings.
• Ensure new equipment meets performance standards before deployment.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, manage parts inventory, and perform repairs.
• Complete required training and certification exams to maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Manage customer issues independently from identification through resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of service orders, PM schedules, and parts inventory.

Skills and Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field. Minimum one year of hands-on experience with medical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, computer networking proficiency, and MS Office skills.
• Valid driver's license, ability to travel overnight, and effective budget management.

• Attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and flexibility.
