Job Description

The role of the EPM Product Owner is a position requiring strategic leadership, deep product knowledge, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions to support our EPM product suite. This role will assist in managing the roadmap, requirements, and delivery of EPM Systems. The product owner acts as a crucial bridge between stakeholders, development teams, and the customer base, ensuring the product vision aligns with organizational goals and marketplace demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product roadmaps, ensuring a balance between customer needs, technological feasibility, and business goals.
  • Continuously assess and incorporate user feedback to refine the product strategy.
  • Engage with Finance/Accounting stakeholders at all levels, including executives, clients, and development teams, to gather requirements and prioritize objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication between external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog, ensuring feature requests and improvements align with the overarching business strategy.
  • Monitor sprint progress and resolve any blockers or impediments affecting team performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in EPM Systems, product management or a similar role.
  • Experience with EPBCS, HFM, FDM, Smart View, or similar systems.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering successful products.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree desirable).

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding of Finance terminology and concepts
  • Experience with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
