Responsibilities Using related tools and diagnostic equipment, maintain 95% utilization and 78% efficiency on repairing customer-supplied product. Ensure repairs are accurate and performed in a highly professional manner. Prioritize pending repair jobs and maintain the job board, ensuring accuracy of assigned job statuses. Assist the Supervisor in achieving department goals and objectives. Perform high-reliability soldering on repairs. Maintain department professional appearance by cleaning while working. Utilize M2K computer to record repair notes and other repair-related information. Assist other departments with technical information, troubleshooting techniques, telephone support, and setting up test equipment. Evaluate and perform customer-driven requests. Maintain records and correspondence of equipment sent in for repair. Assist the Supervisor in locating and procuring parts, tools, or other aids to improve productivity. Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. May participate in department meetings as a representative. Participate in training programs to increase product or electrical knowledge. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Prerequisites Education and Experience AA Degree in Electronics or related field, four (4) or more years of equivalent electronics troubleshooting experience. One (1) or more years of electronic weighing equipment experience. Skills Good verbal and written communication skills. Good electronic test equipment skills. Strong high-reliability soldering skills.
