Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing prescription orders using provided data and inputting information into specialized systems. This position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Input prescription order details into designated systems with precision and accuracy.
• Transfer information from spreadsheets into the prescription management system.
• Ensure all entered data complies with established standards and guidelines.
• Verify and cross-check data for errors or inconsistencies before submission.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and report any issues or discrepancies in the data entry process.
• Follow procedures and documentation requirements to maintain records accurately.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data entry roles, preferably with numeric data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
• Ability to type efficiently and handle large volumes of data.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
