Jolma Utilities is looking for 2 Operators and 1 Laborer to join our civil construction team for solar field development projects. These positions involve equipment operation, grading, access road construction, and site preparation.

Employment Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience with dozers, excavators, and skid steers, with solid understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations
• Skilled in grading, access road construction, and laydown area setup/removal (including finish work)
• Class A CDL preferred; valid Driver’s License with acceptable record and non-expired CDL required
• Minimum age: 21 (preferred)
• Ability to safely use small tools/hand tools
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Highly safety-conscious with knowledge of industry-standard safe working practices
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• High School diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in underground utility construction preferred
• Ability to read drawings and follow specifications
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with crew, leadership, and clients
• Must meet the physical demands of the position
• Willingness and ability to travel to sites outside of WI as required

Out-of-Town Work

• Must be available for Monday–Friday travel or longer-term assignments (typically home on weekends)
