Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for someone looking to break into the fast-paced world of freight brokerage. You will be responsible for building relationships with transportation carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely delivery of freight for our clients. No previous logistics experience is required-just a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with trucking carriers across North America.
• Negotiate rates with carriers
• Communicate daily with carriers to book and update shipment status and resolve service issues.
• Source available carrier capacity for customer freight and negotiate competitive rates.
• Track shipments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Work closely with account managers and customer sales teams to meet service expectations.
• Use internal transportation management systems (TMS) to manage load data and documentation.
• Provide excellent service to carriers to foster long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Carrier Sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and working with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
• Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.

Salary Description


$65,000 - $75,000/yr Unis LLC
