**Description**
Calder Casino is a great place to work! As a Card Room Dealer, you will be responsible for the control of the card games, providing exemplary guest service, and increasing rated play. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard-free work environment.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Deals cards to players and shuffles as appropriate according to established rules and regulations.
* Ensures that correct "rake" is taken from the designated players.
* Ensures that wagers are placed before cards are dealt.
* Monitors game and notifies supervisor of any disputes, problems, or concerns with either a patron or the progress of the game.
* Promotes positive Team Member and Guest relations at all times.
* Responsible for the operation and conduct of the assigned game in accordance with SOPs, internal controls, and the rules and procedures of the cardroom.
* Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate leaders of concerns and observations.
* Ensure prompt and discreet notification to leaders and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
* Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
* Assisting guest with seating and chip distribution.
* Responsible for keeping the cardroom clean, sanitized, and in order.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
**STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**
* Exceptional guest service skills.
* Maintains a professional working relationship among all Team Members and guests.
* Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
* Adherence to Code of Conduct and all Calder Casino policies and procedures.
* Ability to maintain and upbeat and positive outlook at all times.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the cardroom.
**EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**
* High school or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
* Knowledge and experience dealing Card Room games.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
