About the Role

We are hiring a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to start a hands-on career in plumbing with paid training and a clear path toward becoming a licensed journeyman plumber. You will work directly under licensed plumbers, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance while learning the trade.

What You’ll Do

• Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures (PVC, copper, steel, etc.)
• Support leak detection and pressure testing under supervision
• Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness
• Load/unload materials and keep service vehicles organized
• Provide professional customer service on job sites
• Follow safety guidelines and state plumbing codes

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (climbing, kneeling, bending)
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or related trades
• State of Michigan plumbing apprentice registration
