As a Security Officer - Commerical Site - Full Time in Brighton, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires the use of a company vehicle, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the commercial real estate location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals while helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with property management and/or building staff to address security-related needs and support a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Applicant must be +21 years of age
• A valid drivers license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
