Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract position for a part-time role offering an excellent opportunity to grow your accounting skills in a supportive environment. The role requires a commitment of three days per week, with the potential for additional hours as workload increases. Training will be provided!
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize Excel to analyze data and create financial reports.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial tasks as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a detail-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Yardi is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
